Buffalo Chicken Wings recipe

buffalo chicken wings are great for special occasions, for instance, game days, holidays, or any days

Buffalo wing is an unbreaded chicken wing section that is generally deep-fried, and coated or dipped in a sauce consisting of a vinegar-based cayenne pepper hot sauce and melted butter prior to serving. They are traditionally served hot, along with celery and carrot sticks, and a dip of blue cheese dressing or, primarily outside New York, ranch dressing. Buffalo wings are named after Buffalo, New York, where they were invented, but have no relation to the animal. They are often called chicken, hot, and just wings.

Buffalo wings have gained popularity in the United States and abroad, so some North American restaurant chains feature them as a main menu item. The name “Buffalo” is now also applied to other spiced fried foods served with dipping sauces,  including boneless chicken wings (made from chicken breast meat rather than a chicken wing), chicken fries, chicken nuggets, popcorn chicken, shrimp, and cauliflower.(Wikipedia)

Ingredients

1/4 cup melted butter

3 tablespoons Tabasco sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

one teaspoon of cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon table salt

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

3 pounds of chicken wings

Directions

To make these wings, combine all the ingredients in a bowl so they are well blended. Coat the chicken pieces all over thoroughly with the mixture. Bake in a 425-degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Using a meat thermometer, check if the internal temperature is at least 145 degrees, and then you’ll know it is done. Enjoy!
